J Bags was founded by Barbara "B.J." Kahn. Having been taught
to sew as a child by her grandmother, she learned to love sewing
over the years as an outlet for her creative talents. An art
minor in college, Ms. Kahn first utilized her entrepreneurial spirit
and sewing talents by creating one-of-a-kind custom window
treatments. As her reputation for excellence grew, so did the
demands on her time and family. Eventually, she switched gears
and started creating handbags for the fans of her beloved Georgia
Bulldogs. There were other sources for these types of purses,
but many of her customers considered hers to be the best of the
best. Not only are her creations unique and stylish, but they
are also incredibly well-made and sturdy. Today, she offers a
full line of collegiate-licensed purses as well as seasonal styles.
She also creates wonderful jewelry, customized koozies, and other
